These snow crystals were captured as they fell in my driveway in Kenabeek. After falling on a metal collecting tray, they were selected and individually transferred to a glass microscope slide for photography. Although I'm new at the techniques for this kind of snowflake photography, and my apparatus is very makeshift from stuff I had lying around the house, the results are sufficiently encouraging for me to continue my attempts. I will continue posting to this gallery over the course of the winter, so come back regularly to see what's new.
